James Rolfe is the creator of the iconic web series Angry Video Game Nerd, where he shares humorous and passionate critiques of classic video games. Launched in 2004 as a personal project, AVGN quickly became a fan favorite and helped shape retro gaming content online. In addition to gaming, James is an indie filmmaker, author, and film historian who enjoys sharing his love of movies, storytelling, and gaming history with fans around the world.
