Bio:
Doug Walker has been creating online videos since 2007 and is best known for The Nostalgia Critic, his iconic Channel Awesome character reviewing movies and TV shows tied to beloved (and infamous) pop-culture IP from the past. He’s also well known for his long-standing “rivalry” with The Angry Video Game Nerd, and his reach extends far beyond YouTube. Doug has appeared in Smiling Friends, Honest Trailers, Cinema Sins, Attack of the Show, Oney Plays, and Solid JJ, and has been featured by PBS, Entrepreneur Magazine, The New York Times, USA Today, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, and 20/20. His accolades include Entrepreneur of the Year at the Mashable Awards and being named one of WatchMojo’s Best YouTube Critics. He’s performed with Mike Nelson, James Rolfe, Corey Taylor, Mara Wilson, Dante Basco, Rob Paulsen, Maurice LaMarche, Don Bluth, Tommy Wiseau, Greg Sestero, and has even received praise from Roger Ebert. His likeness has also appeared in animated shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Zettai Karen Children. More than a god. Less than a man. Or maybe the reverse. Either way, you should probably watch him.
